Tito Garcia, LMT

Hello I’m Tito Garcia

I believe the foundation of a great massage lies in the power of intention. I’m a humble and compassionate person by nature. I lean towards the creative side of life, and I have always found human anatomy to be incredibly fascinating. From its complex structures to its movements and even the dysfunctions. Through this lens of understanding is how I make sense of humanity and my surrounding world.

I have been in practice since 2013. I’ve started seeing clients at my home studio in Austin, and doing outcall services. Then I gave it a try working at a SPA for a year just to realize it wasn’t for me. I managed to find a shared studio in South 1st Street and somehow along the way, I ended up joining a group of chiropractors. They welcomed me in their practice. I rented office space with them and they would refer me their patients. That was a turning point in my career! I fell in love working with that crowd. I would do both chair and table sessions. Until the opportunity for expansion presented, and was able to open the doors of what is today ATX Healing Art.

I wouldn't have made this possible without the support of my community. Eventually, clients in physical therapy found us and we found a great group of physical therapists to refer our clients to. I ended up specializing in clinical massage and commonly work with expecting moms, with teens, and athletes dealing with orthopedic injuries.

I’m 37 years old, originally from Laredo and Nuevo Laredo. Spanish is my first language and I’m fluent in English. I’m also in the quest for learning Italian. In my spare of time, I enjoy exploring local coffee shops, Yoga studios, and stand up comedy venues. I LOVE boat parties at the lake during summer, and pretty much any activities involving water & nature. I visit museums everywhere I travel and I’m always thrilled to immerse myself in cultures, and observe how locals live their daily lives. Although, I’ve never run a marathon, I’m a long distance runner. It is my goal completing a full one this year. It’s about time! I’ve been training with the RAW Running group for over than a year and occasionally hit the gym. If I’m not massaging, my body is always moving except when I’m meditating.
